BREACH

Billy Baldwin narrates this compelling exposé of Iceland’s brutal and tragic whaling industry. The film reveals the country’s defiant & illegal commercial whale handing against a backdrop of greed, what-watch tourism and fierce nationalism.

Jonny Zwick, Director

In 2013, Jonny Zwick, a California based filmmaker, was informed that endangered Fin whales and Minke whales were being slaughtered for commercial gain in Iceland. Shocked and baffled by the continued practice, he quit his job, rented out his apartment and moved to Iceland to produce this film. His uncle, Hardy Jones, an award-winning marine life filmmaker, inspired Jonny to make Breach.
